Learn how to design & develop custom Shopify sites from Level 0 to 100.

You’ll learn coding languages like:

  • HTML

  • CSS

  • Liquid

  • JSON

When creating this course, we made it specifically for the design forward beginner who feels limited by Shopify templates, but also wants a fun way to learn what they’re coding vs. blindly copying and pasting. We start from Level 0 where you set up your store in the back-end to Level 100 where you can bring Figma designs to life with CSS, use Liquid to create custom blocks, and edit the Theme Editor with JSON. It sounds like a lot, but we wanted to make sure that when you finish the course you’ll have everything you need to execute custom solutions as a Shopify developer.

Who is this
course for?

Hey, you! Are you frustrated with pre-made Shopify themes? Do you wish your website made people do a double take? Or maybe you just want to know how to use Shopify's features more effectively. If you fall (or sort of fall) within any of these categories, then we got you. This course is for anyone who wants to level up their Shopify design skills from Level 0 to Level 100.

I'm a designer and I want to learn how to code.
Shopify looks way more intimidating than other site builders, so I don’t know where to even start. My brain shuts down every time I even think about coding.
Looking for a career shift.
I’m feeling stuck in my current job and I keep looking at cool online stores and getting FOMO. I wish I could be involved in designing stores because I love DTC brands!
I want to be a Shopify Freelancer.
I have so many clients that want a Shopify site but I'm not confident I can create one from scratch. I need guidance, a helpful community, and the assurance that I’m learning the right things!
I want to make my designs a reality.
I can make designs and hand them off to developers, but there’s usually a tension when they tell me my ideas are impossible. I know that anything’s possible on the web, so what’s the deal?
I'm fun-employed.
I lost my job and I'm questioning whether I'm on the right career path. I used to make websites for my friends and had a lot of fun doing it—how can I turn my passion into a viable career?
I’ve taken other courses and I’m still confused.
I went to the school of Youtube and Google but I still don’t understand what I’m doing. There’s gotta be a better way to learn this. Please explain it like I’m five!
Dude, Shopify is crazy.
I’ve worked with agencies, small businesses, and gotten some of my own gigs, but this industry is huge and I feel pressure to know everything under the sun. I need guidance from someone who can help me make sense of the chaos.
I have Employee(s) that want to learn.
I wish I had time to take this course, but I don’t have time. However, I do have very hungry employees that are down to learn and help out.
I want to start my own business.
I’ve asked around and the cost of designing a custom Shopify store is astronomical. I want to launch my own store, and I’d like to save startup costs by designing the whole thing myself!

❝I've always had to code-switch (pun intended) between being a designer and a developer. I created this course because I want to empower people to learn how to code and create custom Shopify sites but also how to apply design thinking to code, so we can make the web a better designed place, one website at a time! ❞
