Q What do you do?

I connect the obsessed

The high achievers, the CEOs, the legacy builders - with those who need to hear what they have to say. My job is to turn their groundbreaking thoughts into words that sell. For me, that's where my passion lies - in bridging people and products through dynamic storytelling.

Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?

Armed with a lot of real-world experience and drive for the written word, my path has been about igniting brands with compelling copy. From global organisations to top-tier coaches, I've fuelled their growth, making their messages unforgettable.

Q How do you stand out in your field?

My copy isn't just words - it's a blend of boldness and emotion. It's about daring to say what's unsaid, turning the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Q What are you working on right now?

Right now, I'm crafting a video script and marketing funnel for a luxury web and brand designer located in the USA.

Q What’s your style?

My style strikes a balance between dreamlike inspiration and sharp-edged realism. Picture the vibrant, sun-kissed cliffs of Positano meeting a bold, no-nonsense attitude. It's this blend that I bring to each project, marrying an authentic tone with the unique language that speaks directly to your ideal client.

Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?

I'm really looking forward to diving into podcasting. I'm launching one soon that's all about storytelling and connecting with people - from CEOs to the guy next door. It's going to be a melting pot of ideas, experiences, and tips, all seen through a marketing lens, to give your copywriting and marketing a fresh edge.

Q What is frustrating you right now?

Formatting project management software. Yawn. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a godsend, but the headache that ensues makes me want to dry retch.

Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?

Continuously petting my ginger cats, Kevin and Joey. They deserve it, but I just never have enough hands free.

Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?

That my cheekiness and desire to go against the status-quo when it came to compiling delicious sentences was a gift, rather than a flaw I needed to squash down.

Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?

Brian Cox — every time. Have you heard this man discuss the nature of black holes and the universe? Game-changing and mind-boggling, really.

Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?

I'm on the lookout for projects with entrepreneurs and businesses bold enough to challenge norms and retain integrity while making a significant impact.

Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.

Honestly, I thrive best in collaborations that blend creativity with laughter, where concepts evolve into impactful results. If you're all about making bold moves and not just playing it safe, we're probably a match made in heaven.

Q: What is your rate?

For those looking to amp up their game, my strategy sessions start at $300 AUD, focusing on marketing and copywriting. As for copywriting projects, each one is tailor-made to fit your unique needs, with prices beginning at $1500 AUD. Let's chat to craft something that's just right for you.

Q How should someone approach you about working together?

Keen to team up? Just shoot me an email at hello@thisisemmajane.com. Tell me a little about your business, the project you have in mind, and a bit about who you are. Let's start the conversation there.

Q Who is a creative you admire?

If you're on the hunt for an exceptional mentor and business coach, my go-to for the last 1.5 years is Sarah Ruby Leffley. Her insights and guidance are phenomenal.

Q Oh! and… how do you stay creative?

Yoga, ocean time, reading, and getting into the real world. Sometimes you gotta ditch the screens and go outdoors.
