Q What do you do?

I’m an Artist & Illustrator combining luxurious decorative art with storytelling.

My work celebrates the connection between women and nature, and I work with commercial illustration, murals and live events illustration.

Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?

I studied Visual Communication as a degree and afterwards began freelancing on the side of my day job. I tried various styles and outlets for my work (pet portraits - we’ve all been there…?), but eventually was able to land fashion illustration jobs and events work as a live illustrator for some really exciting brands. I’m now moving into more self-directed work and have also started exhibiting as an independent artist.

Q How do you stand out in your field?

My work is often recognised for it’s strong use of colour and symbolism.

Q What are you working on right now?

I’m currently working on a new collection of illustrations all about the magic of rest, self care and transformation. Through Winter into Spring, think pastel colour palettes, faberge eggs, arctic foxes and lots of gold!

Q What’s your style?

My latest project ‘Natural Alchemy’ is a great indication of what I love creating with my work. Bold, colourful, delicate, and a contrast between innocence and darkness.

Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?

Commercial Illustration! I love working with illustration for campaign- telling a story, exploring outcomes. Lately I’ve been getting a lot of live work, I love it but do miss getting to sit down in the Studio and draw!

Q What is frustrating you right now?

My accounts! Every year I say I will get organised prepare my tax returns early... I never do.

Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?

Film me painting/ run my socials! I’m awful at remembering to record my process and I often (like most of us) find social media overwhelming to manage.

Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?

DON’T DO PET PORTRAITS UNLESS YOU ACTUALLY WANT TO DO PET PORTRAITS. Repeat.

Spend your time and energy creating work you want to do/practicing skills you want to carry forward.

Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?

IG - Does it ever make more sense??!

Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?

Commercial Illustration - Packaging and Campaign (Fashion, Beauty, Lifestyle)
Murals - Small and Large Scale
Live Events Illustration

Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.

Johnnie Walker Blue Label - Chinese New Year Limited Edition.
Every year I become more obsessed with these collaborations and the beautiful artwork created to celebrate the Chinese New Year. I’m also a whisky lover, and it would be an absolute dream to create a piece for this. That colour palette is *chefs kiss*!

Q What is your rate?

Project fees typically begin at £800, however this can vary depending on the size of the project and specifications. Please always feel free to drop me a message to discuss pricing or options for your project!

Q How should someone approach you about working together?

Please drop me a message via my website if you’d like to discuss a project! Include your budget, project brief and if this is an on site project (live events/murals) a few details of the space and event.

Q Who is a creative you admire?

Stella Visual!
This woman is a powerhouse. Beauty photography, illustration, painting. She does it all, and so well. She’s also a joy to work with!

Q Oh! and… how do you stay creative?

Walks in Nature. Rest. Instagram!
