The part of the course that I've learned a lot about myself was coming up with my creative pillars as well as when I got to go out and shoot. My creative pillars allowed me to really think about what I enjoy and how I would evoke that in my work. I took the 3D Blender Course to add another creative practice to my belt, to be able to pitch murals more realistically, and to further develop my creativity. Through the entire thing I was surprised at how fast I was learning. I haven't had the best track record with studying but I found Blender super intuitive and easy to navigate. It was really fun and aesthetically pleasing. I enjoyed every section!

My favorite parts of the course were learning the variations of copywriting, their purposes, and having a bit of hand holding in the learning process. The feedback examples spread across the sections and "make your own adventure" mode in the workbook didn't feel like I had to navigate a personal maze. If anything, I didn't feel like I *had* to get comfortable with a platform or style I didn't feel connected to.

My favorite aspect of the course is the combination of Notion resources and the visual guidance provided in the video lessons. This course is great for visual learners. I've tried learning code in the past, but it never clicked for me. After taking this course, HTML and CSS became pretty easy to understand and read. The content strategy and brand voice taught me a lot about myself. I realized how much I enjoy finding the core of a brand and the story-telling. It made me see that I have strong creative intuition and a natural sense of tone, aesthetics and audience. I used to doubt if I had what it takes to work in this space, but this course really boosted my confidence. My favorite part was planning content pillars and thinking how a brand could emotionally connect with the audience and still stand out. So many things to love! I love how the course was structured, and the videos were really fun to watch! I'm glad it was self-paced. I work full-time, so I was able to tackle the videos and exercises at a sustainable pace. (Mostly... I ended up burning the midnight oil sometimes because of how much fun I was having!) It also allowed me to dedicate time to fully absorbing the information and letting the creative process flow. The templates and recorded workshops are amazing. And I LOVE the Discord community! I initially didn't consider it much when I enrolled, but it's wonderful to have access to such an empowering space.

When you’re working on a project, it’s so easy to feel stuck if you tend to be a perfectionist or when you’re not sure what to do next, but the community and assignments gave me accountability and an extra push to finish my website (+ realize that done is better than perfect!).
