Q What do you do?

Yes, I do brand and web design using bad-ass fonts, and I code a lot.

I do this so I can support businesses like yours by building modern brands and interactive, highly converting websites. To give you a heads-up you wanna be thinking bold and savvy - you know, mind-blowing! 🤯 Not boring corporate design… I create websites in Squarespace that enable you to edit and update with ease.

My mantra is, "You are one-of-a-kind, and so should your brand and website!

Q What steps did you take to get to where you are now?

I wanted to stop watching Netflix, get off my ass 🍑 , and do something fun - aka side-hustle. So naturally, I enrolled in Paige Brunton's Square Secrets Business (what else…). During that course, I found my passion for web design but not only web design – the development behind it all. And after some soul searching, I signed up for Rach from Squarestylist, Standout Squarespace advanced coding. (Turns out I love it) Both courses have been absolutely life-changing and helped me grow my coding skills, the way I design, and what I WANT TO create, which is super-important. 🍩

Q How do you stand out in your field?

I don't do boring design - if you don't get the wow 🙀, we are doing something wrong.

Q What are you working on right now?

Right now, I am working on a few different projects. A new Squarespace template called Memphis and branding with a matching website for a tech studio 👨‍💻🧠 and a communications community. So super-exciting and awesome people to work with.

Q What’s your style?

To sum up my style, I would say a colorful editorial feel with a major emphasis on typography. I enjoy experimenting - mixing styles to get the right mix, so the brand work for both web but also print media. I draw inspiration from all over the place, but sourcing for fonts is big!

Q Out of all your slashies, which one do you wish you could do more often?

I would love to focus more on the design aspect of coding. For example, creating more interactions and having this merge with your brand to give the visitor that 'wow' experience, putting your website on the map.

Q What is frustrating you right now?

I would have to say lack of time! I currently have a bucket list of dream projects that I would love to just put all my time and effort into (I would love to dig into Lottie animation). Unfortunately, there's just not enough time in a day to do it all!

Q If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?

Just give me neck rubs 24/7 and LEAD GENERATION

Q What do you wish you could have told yourself, when, and why?

I would tell the younger me that it's okay not to know everything and take it slow! You are you, and you are perfect the way you are! And by the way, you love coding!

Q If you could talk to an expert to gain more insight on something, what would it be about?

Lead generation and the major headache of taxes.

Q What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?

Web design and development projects using Squarespace as a platform. I would love the opportunity to work more with fashion and beauty brands to create cool kick-ass websites that convert like crazy.

Q Describe your ideal job/client/collaboration.

My ideal client is willing to color outside the lines and experiment with their brand to stand out and be different. Who takes the work seriously but doesn't take herself too seriously, if you know what I mean 😊. I'd love to work more with fashion and beauty brands, but it's all about the people, to sum it up.

Q: What is your rate?

For a custom website, I start at $2900, and the turnaround time is approximately 4-6 weeks once all assets are received.

Q How should someone approach you about working together?

There is no right or wrong way to connect with me, so you can shoot me an email, fill out my questionnaire, or hit me up on Instagram. Love 😍 to hear from you!

Q Who is a creative you admire?

Rach the queen of code - Squarestylist, Standout Squarespace I would recommend every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Q Oh! and… how do you stay creative?

✌︎ Not doing boring corporate web design.
