Sol Angeles seeks a Digital & Print Graphic Designer

Sol Angeles is currently looking for a Digital & Print Graphic Designer to design, produce and manage creative and compelling content for Sol Angeles collections, website, email blasts, lookbooks, online and print advertisements. The ideal candidate is a talented graphic designer who is motivated to elevate the emotional connection of the Sol Angeles brand. They require a strong passion for design, photography, type and motion as they come together to create user experiences and compelling graphics. Equally, this position will drive development of inspired, original designs for emails, digital marketing and social media assets. As a result, organization skills are paramount to this position. Above all, the Digital and Print Graphic Designer must have a keen design eye that matches Sol Angeles’ aesthetic and overall themes.
 
 
Primary Responsibilities:
• Creates aesthetically, on-brand content that enhances the overall brand experience for Sol Angeles customers.
• Creates seasonal graphics for seasonal Sol Angeles collection that matches our overall aesthetic theme.
• Produces the digital content behind campaigns, email blasts, display ads homepages, editorial/experiential landing pages, category marquees, templates, website content and banners.
• Daily creation of new, engaging original digital content for email blast (typically pushed out one to three times per week) as well as campaigns and triggered email series.
• Daily collaboration with cross-functional teams at all levels of the company including the Art Director, Creative Director, Marketing Manager and Social Media Coordinator to meet brand’s objectives.
• Supports Art Director and eCommerce Manager with image retouching, editing, and optimization of graphics for web.
• Leads Instagram layout with Social Media Coordinator/Copywriter by sourcing inspiration and product driven images to post on platforms.
• Highly familiar with Sol Angeles’ design history and past collections and aesthetic.
• Creates graphics for non-web formats including billboards, magazine ads and event invitations.
• Keen understanding of brand will be essential to product development and working with the design team on seasonal and capsule collections.
• Meet all deadlines under pressure, and can react to unexpected schedule changes.
 
Required Skills/Qualifications
• Minimum 2-3 years experience as a graphic designer.
• Must have expertise with Adobe Creative Suite & InDesign.
• Thorough understanding of Sol Angeles’ brand history and digital portfolio.
• Deep interest in fashion, beauty, pop culture and social e-commerce.
• Experience in utilizing a strong brand identity to drive direct response.
• Strong interpersonal skills, and loves to collaborate with team members.
• Strong creative problem solving skills; ability to interpret analytical thinking into design concepts.
• Well-organized with attention to detail and ability to follow-through.
• Experience managing projects from start to finish that involves work from other designers, photographers, retouches and copywriters.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating proven talent through a continuous string of successful web based projects.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
