About the Party
Come dance your face off at the Unique Space on April 3rd at 7PM. We're going to go NUTS on eyeball art installations, yummy drinks, and a ton of dancing.
And if you don't have 20/20, be sure to fill in your prescription for VIP access. You could be the next Brand Ambassador and get free Visian ICL!
What?! Why Eyeballs?
I've always wanted Lasik, but my eye doctor didn't recommend it since my vision was bad (6.5) and I could have dry eyes after. I assumed that I would have to wear contacts forever and be completely screwed when the Zombie Apocalypse came.
Erin told me all about Visian ICL. I had no idea that there was an alternative out there. A few months later, I was an Official Brand Ambassador for Visian ICL and got my entire surgery paid for.
The surgery lasted about 20 minutes and I'm seeing 20/20 now! No dry eyes, no night glare, it's perfect. Wooooo!!!
If you have bad vision, be sure to sign up for a consultation to see if you are a good candidate:

What is the Visian ICL?
The Visian ICL, also known as the implantable collamer lense, is a procedure to help correct nearsightedness. The lens has been available internationally for over 15 years.
Good Candidates for the Visian ICL
If you are between the ages of 21 and 45, nearsighted, and have had vision for a year, you are an excellent candidate for the Visian ICL. The Visian ICL is made to help correct patients with low myopia (-3 diopters) to high myopia (-20 diopters). Not only is the Visian ICL good for candidates with high myopia, but it may be the perfect option for people who are suffering with severe dry eyes or have thin corneas. The Visian ICL is a simple 15-minute outpatient procedure that has a fast recovery time. One main difference that separates Visian ICL from LASIK and PRK is that the Visian ICL does not use a laser to reshape the corneal surface of your eyes. Visian ICL Recovery
The recovery time for the Visian ICL is very quick and comfortable, and may be as little as a day, due to the very small size of the incision required. The incision needed to implant the foldable Visian ICL is tiny and located on the far edge of the cornea, where there is little danger of it interfering with vision. Once the lens is implanted, sutures are typically not needed to close the incision, further simplifying the procedure.
Visian ICL side effects
Patients undergoing corneal refractive procedures, such as LASIK and PRK, may be susceptible to side effects associated with corneal surgery including dry eye and thinning of the cornea. The LASIK procedure involves removal of tissue from the cornea, which means some of its complications may be more difficult to correct than the possible complications of the Visian ICL. All surgical procedures carry some risk; however, the side effects or complications related to the Visian ICL, in most cases, can be corrected by your own surgeon. They include infection, increased intraocular pressure, and possibility of accidental damage to the crystalline lens during the procedure.
To find out if you are a good candidate for the Visian ICL, contact a qualified Visian ICL surgeon near you who is qualified to perform the Visian ICL procedure.
