What do you do?

I operate a writing studio that provides content direction and copywriting to mission-driven women.

What steps did you take to get where you are now?

I channeled my background as a lobbyist for women's rights into working with

mission-driven women entrepreneurs doing important work to further social good. It

was a lot of trial and error, testing different groups to serve and offerings to provide. I

mainly focused on doing my best possible work, being easy to work with, and doing

what I said I was going to do!

For other people in your field, what do they usually lack?

The understanding that people's stories, just like their businesses, are constantly in flux. What's on your About page today will probably feel outdated to you in a year. For that reason, finding a writer who can support you on an ongoing basis is going to be more effective than just a one-off project.

What are you working on right now?

Creating this profile, and oh! Not what you meant?

We are all Slashies with multiple skills, which one do you wish you could do more often?

When I'm not running my business, I also write literary fiction. I also love to paint and take road trips with my camera.

What is frustrating you right now?

What task keeps landing at the bottom of the To Do list?

If I’m being completely honest, it’s probably marketing. I tend to let the client work

and operations of my business come before that—it’s a bad habit I’m determined to

If you could hire someone for $20/hour, what would you have them do to make your day easier?

Project management for my studio writing projects.

What kind of opportunities/projects are you looking for?

Long-term partnerships with service-driven entrepreneurs, along with inspiring one-time projects with fellow creatives (especially LA-based).

What is your ideal client?

A woman entrepreneur on a mission to change the world for the better in some way.

Do you allow yourself to say No?

Often. This is one of my most valuable tools for making time for my art, being able to properly serve current clients, and grow my business.

What is your rate?

It varies depending on the project and scope. Check the site for more details!

How should someone approach you about working together?

With a bottle of wine... Or just head over to My website, which gives you everything you’re looking for (well, not everything, but you know what I mean).
